A perfectly manicured fairway, a Mediterranean sea breeze, and a setting unlike any other: On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the renowned Alcanada Golf Club in northern Mallorca, once again the island's hotspot. Right on time at 9:00 a.m., the starting signal was given for the The 34th edition of the legendary Inselradio Golf Trophy – presented by our strong partners Minkner & Bonitz as well as the Grupo Ferrá. As MOVEX, we had the privilege of attending this high-profile event, enjoying its unique atmosphere, and making valuable connections.
Top-Level Golf: The Club de Golf Alcanada—A Dream Setting
The 18-hole course in the Bay of Alcúdia, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., is considered one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe—and for good reason. With a direct view of the iconic lighthouse and the deep-blue Mediterranean Sea, the course provided the perfect setting for a first-class tournament. Under bright sunshine and ideal playing conditions, the participants demonstrated their skills.
Excellence was also a top priority off the greens: At the Halfway House, the Mola team treated the players to exquisite culinary specialties and refreshments to help them recharge for the back nine.
Two Historic Holes-in-One & Exclusive Grand Prizes
On the sporting front, the 34th edition offered a rare spectacle that will remain in the players’ memories for a long time to come. Two participants achieved the seemingly impossible: a perfect hole-in-one! This emotional highlight of the year was duly rewarded—with 50,000 euros in prize money each, provided by sponsors Aledius and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
After the tournament, the guests gathered in the stylish clubhouse. A lavish gourmet buffet provided the perfect setting for talking shop and networking. The grand finale was the traditional raffle, featuring a sensational grand prize: a 9-day cruise for two on the luxurious MS Europa from Lisbon to Tenerife, also sponsored by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
